Boys and Girls Club of the Pikes Peak Region

A nonprofit organization

About

Boys & Girls Club of the Pikes Peak Region (BGCPPR) has served at-risk, under-resourced, and underserved kids and teens in El Paso County, Colorado since 1888 - 136 years. Through our nationally proven youth development programs, positive adult mentorship, and safe, pro-social environment, the Club works to ensure that EVERY kid has the chance to build a great future!

Our purpose is to build self esteem and life skills in young people ages 5-18 by providing hope and opportunity through quality programs and activities administered by trained professional staff in a positive, safe environment. We offer more than 30 national programs within the five core program areas: education and career development; character and leadership development; the arts; health and life skills; and sports, fitness and recreation. By providing young people the opportunities, support, and guidance they need to succeed, we are truly helping them build brighter futures. When school hours have ended, Boys & Girls Club hours have begun!

Testimonials

"The Boys & Girls Club has been an amazing experience for my family. It has meant having a safe place for my kids to go after school and during the summer. When they are at the Club, I know they are learning and interacting with their peers. The Club has give them so many opportunities, from life experiences and lessons to leadership skills that they would not have learned anywhere else. My kids are more productive and better people because of the Club!"

"I’d like to thank the judges and staff members for providing their time and talents in supporting Jeffrey during the YOY competition. It was a pleasure to meet all of you. I thank each and everyone for their coaching and contributions. Throughout the process I saw him learn the value of discipline in achieving goals. Your unwavering support gave him the confidence to overcome challenges and push his limits. Please extend my deepest gratitude to Ms. Kara.  Her tireless dedication was truly the driving force behind his success.

As a parent it’s heart warming to witness the incredible influence on my child’s growth. Your mentorship extends beyond after school care teaching him valuable life skills. Phenomenal work!

- Bridget, Club Parent
