Our mission is to delight, inspire, and enlighten audiences with choral music of the highest artistic quality.
Ars Nova Singers was founded in 1986. The ensemble specializes in a cappella (unaccompanied) music of the Renaissance and 20th and 21st centuries. The choir is composed of about 40 selectively-auditioned singers.
Over its 35-year history, Ars Nova has given more than 350 performances of over 150 separate concert programs. We are recognized as one of the area's premier choral ensembles.
Ars Nova has issued ten independent CDs under the New Art label and performed on seven CDs of internationally-known composer and instrumentalist Bill Douglas.
