The Aurora Public Schools Foundation is committed to fostering partnerships to develop and leverage resources for projects and programs that drive innovation and excellence for more than 39,000 students, 5,000 teachers and staff, and 59 schools. Our students represent extraordinary diversity, coming from over 130 countries and speaking more than 160 languages, making APS one of the most diverse school districts in Colorado.

Background Statement

The Aurora Public Schools Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that exists to provide resources and support to the Aurora Public Schools District. Established in 1987, the APS Foundation works to address key barriers and obstacles, close opportunity gaps, and increase postsecondary and workforce readiness so that possibility becomes a reality for every student!

Today, the APS Foundation continues to advance private, nonprofit, public and philanthropic partnerships to develop and leverage resources that drive innovation and excellence for our District.

What We Do:

- Facilitate direct philanthropy to support classrooms, schools, and programs within APS.
