Zonta Foothills Foundation

Zonta Foothills Foundation believes that every woman and girl deserves the opportunity to live a safe, healthy, and empowered life. With your contribution, we invest in women, ensuring that they stay in school, remain safe from abuse and violence, and live strong and successful lives.

Our Foundation, supported by members of the Zonta Foothills Club of Boulder County, underwrites scholarships, leadership groups, mentorship, community service and advocacy programs in Boulder County and the work of Zonta International.

Our Voice

• We advocate for universal access to sexual and reproductive health and rights, most recently, endorsing Amendment 79, Coloradans for Reproductive Freedoms.
• Zonta Says Now to Climate Action is our local and global campaign for climate action through advocacy and scholarships.  
• Zonta Says No to Violence Against Women raises awareness of the global pandemic of women’s rights violations and takes actions to fight violence against women and gender inequality.
• We advocate to stop child marriage, establish Pay Equity, ensure affordable childcare.  We use our collective voice to support women and families throughout Colorado and the world.

Our Scholarships and Community Service

• Distributed more than $43,000 through the Zonta Scholarship programs.
  
• Supported our Z, Golden Z and Platinum Z Club leadership clubs with over $6,000
• Free Libraries supplied than 7,000 free books to readers of all ages at local food banks. 
• Our members volunteered more than 5760 hours to service, advocacy, and fundraising in the last year

Boulder High PantherZ Z-Club embodies the spirit of service, leadership, and empowerment among young women and men. Purpose-driven, compassionate high school students tackle important initiatives, from voter engagement to community drives for local families. The Club focuses on fostering a Culture of Respect among all Boulder High students, taking a firm stand against harassment, sexual assault, and discrimination. Guided by the values and dedication of Zonta Foothills Club of Boulder County, these remarkable students are developing into strong, socially-conscious, and globally enlightened leaders.
