Yarrow Collective is a by/for/with lived experience organization that builds non-carceral, consent-based alternatives to mental health services through peer support, recovery, and harm reduction. As a peer-run organization, we connect peers to one another, education, and resources so that together as a community we allow space for mental distress, awaken to the wisdom of our lived experiences, aspire towards healing, amplify our voices, and for meaningful choice and change. Yarrow Collective host an average of 40 free drop-in peer support groups a month that support folks with their recovery, healing from suicidal thoughts, and more. We also offer free 1:1 peer support to the community. This fundraiser will help us continue to offer all these vital services for free!
In addition to groups and 1:1 peer support, we offer education, community events, and trainings on best pratices in peer support from the Intentional Peer Support and Alternatievs to Suicide models.
