The core value of Worldwide Marriage Encounter is the belief that marriage is a sacrament we live every day.

• We believe that in every person there is a dream, a deep dream that gives meaning to the person’s life, sustains it, drives it, and is a response to his or her deepest needs. We believe that this dream is called LOVE.
• We believe that every person is precious in his or her own right, by the mere fact that exists. All human beings are gifts to this world and have immense potential and talents to develop and offer beyond their imperfections and failures. (Because God does not make garbage.)
• We believe that each of us has the ability to choose to live full lives, to choose a better way, to fight every day for what is important and meaningful to us despite the difficulties. (Love is a decision.)
