Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum

When you give to Wings Over the Rockies, you are launching dreams of flight for future aerospace leaders! Through inspiring exhibits, immersive flight simulator experiences, engaging events, and hands-on STEAM education, you are helping build the next generation of innovators.

In the next one to two decades, the US faces a critical shortage of skilled aerospace professionals. Wings Over the Rockies STEAM programs equip students with real-life technical skills to go into high demand aviation and space industries and fill this need.

This Colorado Gives Day, you can make programs like this possible!

Wings Over the Rockies is dedicated to not only preserving history that inspires, but also to preparing tomorrow's aerospace professionals for the workforce. Thank you for being a valued part of this work.

YOUR GIFT TO WINGS SUPPORTS:

Education

Wings offers hands-on STEAM and aviation learning for young people, and it reaches them at different ages and stages. Younger students can try aerospace through summer camp. Older students can go deeper in the Wings Aerospace Exploration program or the Drone Pilot Pathway, where they can work toward an FAA drone pilot certificate. Each program is built to give students real experience and the confidence to picture themselves in aviation and aerospace.

Community
Wings is a place for neighbors of every age to gather around aviation. Events like Cockpit Demo Day and our Breakfast Fly-Ins put people up close to real aircraft, with the people who fly and care for them nearby to answer questions. Families, longtime aviation fans and first-time visitors all find a way in, and many come back for the next event.

Collections

Colorado’s aviation and space history lives at Wings. Historic aircraft, rare artifacts and personal stories are preserved and put on display so visitors can see how flight has changed over the decades. Hands-on exhibits let visitors feel it themselves, and the collection keeps growing as new pieces of that history come to the museum.
