Wildflower Nature School is a place where children learn not only about nature, but through nature. Our integrated curriculum blends environmental education with whole-child development, giving young learners the space to explore, question, and grow. Each day, children engage in hands-on investigations, following their curiosity as teachers adapt learning to where the child’s discovery leads them!
Silverthorne’s natural landscape is the perfect backdrop for this learning. Here, our classrooms intentionally blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors. Natural materials, abundant outdoor time, and open-ended activities invite children to engage deeply with their environment and with one another. At Wildflower Nature School, we believe every child right to discover their true selves through their play in nature and in our school.
Why Your Support Matters
As we continue building this unique learning environment, we rely on the generosity of supporters who believe in the power of nature-based education. Funds raised will go directly toward classroom supplies—materials that spark curiosity, support sensory exploration, and bring learning to life. These include natural loose-parts for play, outdoor learning tools, child-sized equipment, art and literacy materials, and other essentials that help our classrooms thrive.
Your contribution ensures that each child who walks through our doors enters a space rich with opportunities to learn, imagine, and grow. Together, we can equip our classrooms with the tools children need to explore the natural world—and discover their place within it!
Thank you for helping us nurture a strong, connected, and joyful community of young learners.
