The Wheat Ridge Center for Music and Arts was founded in 2021 as a safe space where artists, teachers, performers, and community groups can meet to rehearse, perform, collaborate, and create. Sharing space with a historic church, performance spaces include an acoustically renowned concert venue, a large event space suitable for exhibits, events, and classes, a recital hall, gallery display space, and meeting rooms. We take pride in the many activities currently operating and performing in our Center, including Sweet Ridge Studios, the Jefferson County Symphony, Atomic Theatre the Rocky Mountain Brassworks, and more.
The Wheat Ridge Center for Music and Arts (WRCMA) offers high-quality performance, studio, workshop, event, and meeting spaces for participation in all facets of the performing and visual arts, as well as a range of community activities. Located in the heart of Wheat Ridge, the WRCMA serves as a vibrant hub that supports and nurtures artists of every discipline.
Designed with community in mind, the Center provides a welcoming home for both emerging and established ensembles, creators, and organizations. Its flexible facilities encourage artists to practice their craft, innovate freely, and collaborate and engage meaningfully with the broader community.
With dedicated performance areas for musicians and performers, studios and gallery space for visual artists, workshop facilities, a fully equipped commercial kitchen for culinary arts, and versatile meeting rooms, the WRCMA offers a comprehensive environment where creativity can flourish and aspirations can take shape.
