Mission
WDC empowers individuals—especially aspiring entrepreneurs, small business owners, and career seekers—to achieve economic prosperity through hands-on development programs, strong community connections, and sustainable growth opportunities. Through our Focused Development Programs, we provide tailored support for diverse communities, including women, immigrants, and other underrepresented individuals, ensuring that everyone has access to the mentorship, education, and resources they need to succeed. Whether pursuing entrepreneurship or professional careers, we equip our members with the skills, training, and connections necessary for long-term success. We also promote holistic wellness, recognizing that true success comes from balancing financial growth with personal well-being, mental resilience, and community support.

Founded in 2022, WDC is a Black woman–led nonprofit dedicated to fostering opportunity, well-being, and lasting change for youth and underserved communities.
Our holistic approach emphasizes youth entrepreneurship, workforce development, community building, and mental well-being—while also offering programs for adults starting businesses, advancing careers, or re-entering the workforce. We focus on education, skill development, civic engagement, and coaching, grounded in principles of equity, safety, and self-determination.
