Wellspring Health Access is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2021. Since opening our first clinic in Casper, Wyoming, in 2023, Wellspring Health Access has provided high-quality abortion care to over 1,000 patients from 20 different states. Wellspring Health Access is expanding services to Colorado in 2027 to provide much-needed reproductive health, gynecological, and gender-affirming care on the Western Slope. Our planned clinic location in Grand Junction is easily accessible to residents of Colorado, Arizona, Texas, Utah, Wyoming, and beyond.
Wellspring Health Access is led by Julie Burkhart, who founded Trust Women and was at the helm for 12 years. Our staff is highly skilled in abortion delivery services, from start-ups to day-to-day operations. We are excited to continue to bring abortion care to underserved areas.
Our mission is to bring access to quality reproductive healthcare to patients in abortion deserts. We believe everyone deserves bodily autonomy regardless of circumstance.
Wellspring Health Access is committed to ensuring individuals can exercise bodily autonomy through the provision of reproductive health services and through advocacy, litigation, and legislation.
Wellspring Health Access offers abortion care up to 23.6 weeks and contraceptive, gynecological, and gender-affirming care via telehealth and in-person visits.
