HONORING THE MEMORY OF YESTERDAY BY INVESTING IN THE DREAMS OF TOMORROW
Arvada Police Officer Michael Northey was killed in the line of duty on August 11, 1979. In his honor, the W. Michael Northey Foundation exists to serve officers and their families in times of need, and to help graduating seniors in Arvada start the road to further education.
In the past twelve years, the Foundation has awarded nearly $160,000 in scholarships to deserving students and assisted the families of nearly a dozen officers. We continue giving back to the community that Officer Northey proudly served.
"By awarding me the Michael Northey Scholarship, you have lightened my financial burden which allows me to focus more on the most important aspect of school. Your generosity has inspired me to help others and give back to the community. Thank you again for helping me get one step closer to my dream" Daniella 2017 Recipient
"I just wanted to personally thank you for providing such an amazing opportunity and I am so excited to work hard and grow as a person" Emma 2018
