From November 1 through December 8, Colorado Gives Day donations go even further thanks to more than $1 million in statewide bonus funds. Plus, if you start a new monthly gift, your first month will be matched up to $100. And here at Veterans Community Project, every gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $8,000—doubling your impact for local Veterans.

Last year, our community raised more than $30,000 during Colorado Gives Day to help Veterans find safety, hope, and home. This year, with your support, we can make it our brightest yet.

Together, we can help every Veteran find home, find community, and keep Colorado shining a little brighter for those who’ve served.

Giving Activity

Mission

Veterans Community Project (VCP) is dedicated to supporting every individual who took an oath to serve our country while simultaneously working to solve Veteran homelessness.

Veterans housing Veterans, armed with the strength and support of the community!

Background Statement

VETERANS COMMUNITY PROJECT is a 501(c)(3) organization founded by a group of combat Veterans in Kansas City, Missouri who resolved to stand in the gaps of a broken system that left too many of their brothers and sisters behind. VCP is on a mission to end Veteran homelessness across the country.

VCP Village is a specialized community of tiny homes combined with on-site, wrap-around support services. With the peace and security of their own homes, Veterans work closely with specially-trained case managers to overcome challenges related to health, employment, financial stability, and social isolation. The ultimate goal: permanent housing and the skills to ensure a better future.
