The Valley Basketball is dedicated to advancing and elevating youth basketball on Colorado’s Western Slope. Through competitive travel basketball, high-level training, and meaningful mentorship, we give young athletes opportunities to develop their game, challenge themselves, and compete at a higher level.
But The Valley is about more than what happens on the court. We strive to develop confident, disciplined and resilient young people who understand the value of hard work, accountability, teamwork and representing something bigger than themselves.
Our athletes have the opportunity to compete throughout Colorado and beyond, gaining exposure to different levels of competition while creating experiences and relationships that will stay with them long after their playing days are over.
Your support helps us continue creating these opportunities for Western Slope athletes—regardless of the financial barriers that can come with competitive youth sports.
The Valley Basketball Club exists to provide young athletes on Colorado’s Western Slope with opportunities to grow through the game of basketball. We are committed to developing skilled, confident and competitive players while emphasizing character, accountability, teamwork, sportsmanship and a strong work ethic.
Our goal is not simply to develop better basketball players, but to help develop young people who carry the lessons they learn through athletics into their schools, families and communities.
For athletes growing up on Colorado’s Western Slope, access to high-level competitive basketball can look very different than it does for athletes in larger metropolitan areas. The Valley was created to help close that gap by bringing competitive basketball opportunities, quality coaching and player development closer to home.
Our program provides youth and high school athletes the opportunity to train, compete and travel against strong competition while representing the Western Slope throughout Colorado and across the region.
As our program continues to grow, so does the cost of providing these opportunities. Tournament entry fees, gym rentals, uniforms, equipment and travel expenses can create significant financial barriers for families.
Through Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day, we hope to lessen those barriers and continue expanding opportunities for athletes who want to work hard, compete and be part of The Valley.
Every donation is an investment in a young athlete and in the future of basketball on the Western Slope.
