Testimonials

We are grateful for the Vail Board of Realtors Foundation's support in making futures bright for the most vulnerable families in our community. Families are best positioned to thrive in homes that are safe and permanent and funding from VBRF makes that possible for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and trafficking in our community!

Thank you all so much for granting me this scholarship. It means a lot to me, and it will be put to good use. From your generosity, I will be able to take out an even smaller loan than I was expecting. This will help me stress less about money and focus more on studying biomechanical engineering at Colorado School of Mines. Once again, thank you all so much!

The Vail Board of Realtors has been a wonderful community partner over the years, having toy drives, having its members ring the bell during the holiday season, and helping with grants when funding is available to help with housing insecurity.

Background Statement

The Vail Board of REALTORS® Foundation (VBRF) was established in 1996 to help promote community efforts for the Vail Board of Realtors®. VBRF supports community and association members with financial assistance, such as medical expenses. VBRF also contributes to nonprofits supporting the Eagle County community. Areas of support include, but aren't limited to, education, environment, youth development, hunger prevention, and housing and shelter. Nonprofit recipients include Bright Future Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, and Vail Valley Salvation Army.

VBRF established its annual academic scholarship program in April 2018, which is open to all Eagle County residents enrolling in or returning to a college, university, or accredited academic institution of higher learning as a full-time student.

In 2021 the Vail Board of REALTORS® Foundation contributed approximately $70,000 to individuals in need, scholarship recipients, and area nonprofit organizations.
