For nearly 30 years, Urban Youth Ministries has been faithfully serving youth and communities in need. Since our founding in the early ’90s by a few committed believers, we’ve grown in both size and impact—building a strong reputation for reaching the students who need us most.
From the beginning, our mission has been rooted in a holistic approach: introducing young people to Christ and walking alongside them through every season of life. We partner with like-minded organizations and ministries to bring hope and transformation to Denver’s most vulnerable youth.
Today, we continue to pursue our vision of raising up a new generation of leaders—one life at a time—who will expand the Kingdom of God. Through camps, retreats, adventure programs, and outreach events, we share the gospel with those who might otherwise be overlooked, showing them the power of faith and the promise of a better future.

At Urban Youth Ministries, our mission is to raise up Christ-centered leaders among urban youth. We are committed to introducing young people to Jesus, nurturing their faith, and equipping them to lead with purpose in their families, schools, communities, and beyond.
For more than 25 years, Urban Youth Ministries has grown in size, reputation, and impact—reaching the students who need us most. Born in the early ’90s from the vision of a few committed believers, UYM was created to meet a critical need: a holistic, faith-based approach to mentoring and discipleship.
Through strategic partnerships with like-minded ministries and organizations, we’ve become a consistent source of hope and support for Denver’s “at-risk” youth.
Today, we continue to carry out our vision of cultivating a new generation of Kingdom leaders—one life at a time. Through camps, retreats, outreach events, and volunteer training, we meet students where they are, share the gospel, and help them discover the transforming power of faith.
