Mission

Our mission is to protect and preserve the waters of the Colorado River at its source. We want to slow the flow of the waters with low-tech, process based restoration projects throughout the Colorado watershed.

Background Statement

UCWET was founded in 2016 through a WaterSmart grant. It's the only county wide watershed group based on community involvement, bringing together diverse interests to support our common goal.
