We provide youth, adults, and families with the tools they need to overcome life's many obstacles and ultimately to become empowered, healthy, and responsible members of their communities. We serve an average of 2,000 Northern Colorado children, adults, and families a year, through our outpatient facilities located in Fort Collins and Greeley, CO. We offer a continuum of care Mental health, Behavioral Health, and Substance Use Disorder treatment.

Mission

The mission of Turning Point Center for Youth and Family Development is "Fostering meaningful connections, growth, and wellness through personalized services for individuals, families, and communities impacted by trauma, mental health, and substance use challenges."

Background Statement

Turning Point was established as an emergency shelter for youth in the juvenile justice system in 1967. It has grown to become a multi-service agency offering a continuum of services including:

• Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program

• Individual and Family Therapy

• Behavior Coaching and mentoring programs

• In-home services for families involved in DHS, Home Preservation and Crisis Intervention services

• Substance Use Treatment, DUI/DWAI curriculum, and in-school drug and alcohol education

Today, Turning Point is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to turning lives around for youth struggling with behavior, mental health, or substance use issues, or a combination. We offer a broad range of programs from outpatient services to in-home services, and preventative services, offering help and hope for youth and their families.

Our programs offer youth , adults, and families hope by giving them skills for better decision making and healthier life choices.
