Ark Valley Voice is a free to all, no paywall, full content online news source for Chaffee County and the Upper Arkansas Valley in Central Colorado. Beginning in 2018 as an LLC, as of August, 2022, Ark Valley Voice became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. It is an accredited member of the Institute for Nonprofit News (INN), the Colorado Press Association (CPA) and a member of the editorial board of the Colorado News Collaborative (COLab).

Guided by experienced, award-winning Publisher/Managing Editor Jan Wondra the “AVV Crew” of trained journalists elevate the quality of community journalism to foster an informed and educated public. Ark Valley Voice publishes 25-30 pieces of original content each Monday through Saturday and offers a daily and weekly email blast of every story in full content, free of charge to those who sign up. Stories are also posted on the Ark Valley Voice Facebook and Instagram sites.

Ark Valley Voice is the primary program of the Truth Has A Voice Foundation, whose mission is civic outreach and the protection of our democracy and First Amendment rights.
