Thompson Education Foundation (TEF) is a non-profit organization that provides educational opportunities for Thompson School District students and educators. TEF removes barriers and supports experiences students need to successfully engage in their academic environment.

Since 1989, TEF has been focused on student educational experiences and success. The foundation supports over 70 programs, activities, and scholarships as the support partner for Thompson School District, serving students in Loveland, Berthoud, south Fort Collins and outlying communities.

TEF relies on donations and volunteers from our community to help our students and educators thrive.

Background Statement

Thompson Education Foundation (TEF) was incorporated in 1989 by a group of area residents who were dedicated to providing a charitable vehicle to assist and enhance activities in Thompson School District. The foundation is a qualified charitable organization and holds a 501(c)(3) designation.

TEF gives scholarships to students, awards grants to teachers and schools, recognizes educator excellence, funds sponsored field trips, supports a broad spectrum of programs and activities throughout the district, removes barriers to success for students experiencing homelessness, offers school supplies to students in need, and partners with the district on special projects.
