An average of 10 children enter foster care every day in Colorado and 50% of foster parents quit within the first year.
Unlike a traditional foster closet, The Haven Impact delivers personalized care packages and a meal directly to families after a new placement, within 48 hours throughout the Denver metro area, and continues offering encouragement and support beyond those first critical days.
Each year, we deliver over 110 care packages to foster families, with each package valued between $300–$500 and thoughtfully designed to meet immediate practical needs as well as each child’s specific interests.
With the right support, families can focus on what matters most: fostering with confidence and welcoming a child with love. And because the need for support does not end after the initial placement, we also encourage foster families through helpful resources, connection opportunities, and scholarships to meaningful events.
Everything you give directly supports Colorado foster families with essential supplies, meals, ongoing encouragement, and meaningful connection during times of transition and beyond. As a fully volunteer-run organization operating solely on donations, every dollar you give goes directly toward serving children and families in our community.

The Haven Impact exists to ensure children in foster care feel loved and to encourage the retention of foster parents. We do this by providing unwavering support for these families to thrive - delivering immediate relief, practical support, and heartfelt encouragement when they need it most.
Our work began in 2022 in Arvada, Colorado, when a small team launched a foster care support initiative that initially operated under the Haven Clothing Company name within YWAM Denver. In 2023, the Colorado program was formally transferred to Harbor Church and became an independent 501(c)(3), operating as Haven Clothing Denver.
As the need grew, so did our reach. At the end of 2024, we moved into a larger space in Westminster—allowing us to serve more foster families than ever before.
In 2025, Haven Clothing Denver rebranded to The Haven Impact to reflect the full scope of what we provide and the lasting ripple effect of support for children and families across Colorado. Today, The Haven Impact operates as an independent nonprofit with its own leadership, governance, and programming.
On June 10, 2025, The Haven Impact was honored to receive the Children’s Champion Award from the Triad Early Childhood Council. This recognition reflects not only our team, but also the foster parents who open their homes again and again, the case workers who serve tirelessly behind the scenes, and every child who reminds us why this work matters.
