Theatre Silco

A nonprofit organization

At Theatre Silco, we believe in the transformative power of the performing arts to inspire, educate, and connect our community. Nestled in the heart of Summit County, Theatre Silco has been bringing engaging and thought-provoking performances to life for 30 years. Our dynamic programming spans plays & musicals, concerts, comedy, and special events, serving as a vibrant cultural hub for audiences of all ages.

A cornerstone of our mission is arts education. Through our renowned VIVO Youth Program, we empower young people to explore their creativity, develop confidence, and learn invaluable life skills. The VIVO Youth Program is completely free to our community and is the only free after school care that also provides transportation in Summit County. We also offer a variety of classes and workshops for adults, making the performing arts accessible to all.

As a nonprofit, Theatre Silco relies on the generosity of donors like you to sustain and grow our programs. Your contributions directly support:

  • High-quality productions that entertain and engage our audiences;
  • Youth and adult education programs that foster creativity and lifelong learning;
  • Community engagement initiatives that enrich lives through the arts.

When you give to Theatre Silco, you’re not just supporting theater—you’re investing in the cultural, artistic, and economic vibrancy of Summit County. Together, we can continue to create spaces where creativity thrives, stories are told, and everyone has the opportunity to experience the magic of live theater.

Thank you for being a part of our journey. Your support makes all the difference.

Background Statement

The Lake Dillon Foundation for the Performing Arts was formed in 1993 to renovate and program the Dillon Amphitheater. The organization expanded over the following years to include a youth educational series and the Lake Dillon Theatre Company (LDTC). For over 20 years the LDTC produced theatre in a 100-year old building donated by the Town of Dillon. In 2017, the Town of Silverthorne and the LDTC opened a new performing arts center based upon the shared goal of improving the quality of life for our residents and guests. 2018 was the first full season in the new facility. In 2022, the organization created a new strategic plan and re-branded as Theatre SilCo.
