In early 2027, the Action Center will move into Daylight Collective, our future, larger home in Lakewood. This 107,000-square-foot community hub will bring the Action Center and mission-aligned partners together under one roof, making it easier for individuals and families to access a wider range of services and opportunities.
The Action Center isn’t going anywhere. Our name, mission, and commitment to our community remain the same. Daylight Collective is the next chapter of our work, creating more opportunities for collaboration, connection, and support.

The Action Center's mission is to provide an immediate and compassionate response to those in our community experiencing hardship and by offering the resources and services needed to stabilize lives and promote pathways to lasting change.
The Action Center was founded in 1968 as Jeffco Action Center to provide basic human services to residents of Jefferson County on an immediate basis and in a non-judgmental environment. The private, non-profit agency continues to serve as the entry point for basic needs, stabilizing the family or individual with immediate help and helping each neighbor in need recognize their pathway to self-sufficiency.
