To create inclusive experiences that amplify the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, cultivate connections, and transform perspectives to alter the way people view disability.

Background Statement
The Wayfaring Band was founded in September of 2012 in response to a need for real-world independent living skills training for adults with I/DD. It expanded to include inclusion and diversity training for adults without disabilities, as well as an artist-in-residence program.
