Our Mission

The Trailhead Children's Museum's mission is to offer an engaging and dynamic environment that inspires children and families to explore, create, and learn together through discovery and play.

Who We Are

At the Trailhead Children's Museum, we believe that play is is critical part of life for children and adults alike, and we are committed to providing and protecting PLAY FOR ALL. 

From pop up museums, to reopening a physical museum, to events, camps, and classes; we have been honored to provide opportunities for children and families to explore, create, and play together all year long. We are so glad and grateful that you have been here every step of the way, and we could not have done it without you!

Play is critical to healthy children, healthy families, and healthy communities. Play provides opportunities for social and emotional learning, cognitive development, and physical fitness. At the Trailhead, we provide a dynamic environment where children and families are free to create and play with no bounds, and learn and grow together. 

As we eagerly look forward to another year of joy, fun, and community, we also look to our incredible community for support. In order to continue providing affordable programs, free community events and programs, and to keep the Trailhead Children’s Museum in excellent condition, we need your help. As 2025 comes to a close, please consider a gift to the Trailhead Children’s Museum. Your generous contribution will support museum exhibits, purchasing real, artist-grade materials for students, paying our hard working staff a competitive wage, and allowing the Trailhead the capacity to provide more and more free or low cost art and play opportunities for all.
