Help Secure the Future of The Old Gallery

Did you know that The Old Gallery still carries a mortgage? Every dollar we spend on the monthly payment is a dollar we can’t use to support the programs, classes, and events that bring our community together. This year, we’re asking for your help to change that - and put more of our resources directly into what matters most: people, creativity, and connection.

The Old Gallery invites you to join our end-of-year giving campaign to help pay off our mortgage and secure the future of our beloved community center. With your generous support, we aim to reach this very important milestone by early 2026.

Thanks to the incredible commitment of our board of directors, $15,000 in early donations will be matched, meaning your gift will go twice as far in helping us pay off our mortgage and strengthen our community programs for years to come.

Every contribution, big or small, makes a real difference. Your support will help The Old Gallery remain a vibrant hub where neighbors connect, ideas grow, and traditions thrive. Please consider giving today and be part of this exciting milestone.

Your Generosity Fuels Community, Creativity, and Connection

When you support The Old Gallery Community Center, you’re investing in so much more than a building - you’re helping keep our mountain communities strong, vibrant, and cared for. Your donations directly sustain essential services for neighbors in need, create welcoming spaces for learning and gathering, and empower the arts that make our community unique.

Thanks to donors and dedicated volunteers, The Old Gallery continues to be a lifeline and a community hub. Your gift helps ensure that every person in our mountain region can feel nourished - both in body and in spirit.

There is truly always something happening at The Old Gallery. From concerts, classes, lectures, art demonstrations, and wellness programs to special events for all ages, we strive to provide meaningful experiences year-round. We’re also proud to offer vital community services: The Community Cupboard Food Bank, a free clothing closet, a welcoming Visitor Center, free internet access, and an EV charging station. And throughout our gallery, 27 local artists showcase their work, celebrating the creativity and talent that define our mountain home.

Your support makes it all possible. Thank you for helping us uplift, connect, and inspire our community every day.

Mission

The Mission of TOG is to provide resources, opportunities, and connections to enrich lives in our mountain communities. We will achieve our mission through diverse programs: basic human services for people in need; community events; visual and performing arts; education; wellness; visitor information.

Background Statement

The Old Gallery Center for Community, Arts, and Visitors was born from a community-wide effort in 2008, and over the past seventeen years it has grown into a lively, essential gathering place for Allenspark and our neighboring mountain communities. Today, The Old Gallery (TOG) welcomes residents and visitors from around the world, offering a unique blend of support services, creative expression, and connection that strengthens our entire region.

From the very beginning, TOG has been committed to caring for neighbors in need. The Community Cupboard Food Bank provides free food and supplies twice a month to 25–30 local families - with more than 19,000 pounds of food distributed in 2024 alone. Each winter, our volunteers also stock the woodshed with over 25 cords of firewood, ensuring that no one faces the cold without help. The Community Closet offers free clothing year-round to anyone who needs it. Through partnerships with the OUR Center, Mental Health Partners, and the Boulder County Area Agency on Aging, we work to make sure all members of our mountain community have access to vital resources and support.

Beyond essential services, The Old Gallery serves as a welcoming venue where both full-time and part-time residents can relax, connect, and celebrate together. Monthly potlucks, signature events such as Hogabluesa, the Run Like the Wind 5K/2K, and our annual Gala bring the community together in joyful ways. Regular performances by visiting musicians and a variety of group activities - Yoga, Tai Chi, Book Club, Juggling Club, and more - ensure there’s always something to enjoy.

As a hub for the visual and performing arts, TOG proudly showcases the work of 27 local artists, including painters, potters, photographers, and jewelers. Our performance lineup ranges from bluegrass and folk to classical and internationally recognized musicians, reflecting the rich creative spirit of our mountain home.

The Old Gallery continues to thrive because of the community that built it - and the community it serves every day. Your support helps us sustain this vibrant, welcoming space where art, compassion, and connection come together for all.
