Mission

At the Consumption Literacy Project, we're reimagining our relationship with resources. By collaborating with youth, educators, and communities, we're uncovering how we consume, where waste is created, and how we can design circular solutions that keep materials in use and out of landfills. Together, we're building a future where nothing goes to waste.

Background Statement

We are a grassroots collective committed to building community change and resilience. Everything we do grows from years of working alongside youth across Colorado’s Front Range, where their ideas, creativity, leadership have shaped our vision. We work to resource these beautiful ideas and bring concepts to reality. What began as elementary science education through composting and worm bins has grown into a thriving community-based organization. Today, we are a strong web of gardens, partnerships, and communities. Together, we are building the world we want to live in.
