Why We Exist

Magnus White was 17 years old when a reckless driver killed him on July 29, 2023. He was riding his bike, training for the world championships. His death was preventable—just like the 24 others that happen every single day in the U.S. to people walking or biking.

Most organizations wait for infrastructure or politics to catch up. We don’t. The White Line was created to act with urgency, in Magnus’s honor, to make roads safer now.

Our Goal

End vulnerable road user deaths in the U.S. by 2035. 

Audacious. Urgent. Absolutely possible.

How We Work

We go straight at the root: cars and people who drive them dangerously.  We’re changing culture, pushing policy, and speeding up the adoption of technology that saves lives.

• Shock People Awake:  Our films and campaigns show the brutal truth. No softening the blow. Careless driving kills. That message sticks.
• Deliver Data That Demands Action:  Our Data Center tracks where people are dying, who’s being held accountable, and what works—arming communities, press, and policymakers with evidence that can’t be ignored.
• Start an Uprising:  This isn’t a support group. It’s a movement. Families. Teen drivers. Community leaders. People who’ve had enough and are stepping up to change the system.

These tools fuel action: laws with real penalties for reckless driving. Rights for victims and families. Technology like AEB and VRU detection—mandated through the Magnus White Cyclist Safety Act.
