SUPPORT SURVIVORS OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE IN OURAY COUNTY!
None of us wants to feel isolated and alone when we deal with violations, such as sexualized violence or intimate partner violence. Let's make Ouray County a place where we show we care for each other and that violence is just plain unacceptable.
Your contributions to the Ouray County Support and Advocacy Project, a new community-based organization in rural Ouray County, make possible:
- Caring and trained local people who can give fully confidential support, if you (or someone you know) experiences sexual violence or intimate partner violence.
- Whether or not they want to report the violence to law enforcement, OCSAP believes victims and will encourage survivors to make their own empowered decisions about their particular situations, present or past.
- Additional people in Ouray County who are ready to advocate for people dealing with the impacts of sexualized or intimate partner violence in the medical, law enforcement, and/or court systems, led by survivors' wishes.
