$10,000 Goal

The Blooming Hands Collective (BHC) is a non-profit farm growing on 1-acre of land in Southeast Boulder. The BHC was founded to build a resilient local food system rooted in sustainable agriculture, education, and food access. After years of experience farming in Boulder County, we envisioned a space where the community could learn more about their food system while engaging in regenerative agricultural practices and gaining access to fresh healthy foods grown locally.

The BHC draws on the collective knowledge and experience of those involved, making its work a true team effort rooted in shared values and a commitment to the local community.

Giving Activity

Mission

our mission is to provide hands-on education that connects people to where their food comes from, while practicing minimal-till, crop rotation, biodiversity, and pesticide-free farming to build healthy soils and grow nutritious food. We also work to strengthen food security in Boulder County through donations to local food access organizations, work-trade CSAs, and our goal of becoming a SNAP retailer in 2027.

Background Statement

Blooming Hands Collective was founded in response to the growing need for accessible, locally grown food, agricultural education, and resilient farming systems in Boulder County. Our team brings experience working on small-scale farms focused on food access, sustainable agriculture, and community education. We created BHC to bring these pieces together through a nonprofit farm model that prioritizes soil health, biodiversity, education, and equitable access to fresh food.
