Tha Myx International Denver

Tha Myx International provides  unwavering support for our local low-income high-risk populations. We engage in caring relationships, develop environments of love, acceptance, safety and holistic healing. For over 20 years, Tha Myx's focus on youth, families, and community, has offered support and resources, implementing various Community Violence Intervention, Gang Intervention and Prevention, Violence Interruption, Violence Mediation and De-Escalation strategies, across the city. All the while, building strong working relationships with the Denver Public Schools, the City and County of Denver, the Juvenile Justice Supervisory Agencies, the Denver Police Department, the Department of Justice, and the community organizations in which we serve. Our motto to "Serve, Commit and Touch Lives" promotes a positive ripple effect throughout our inner-city. Tha Myx’s Community Violence Intervention Program provides support to Middle School and High School students who are under adjudication, with possible gang affiliations and who are at much higher risk of involvement in aggressive, gun related or violent crime. Tha Myx’s Community Violence Intervention Program currently provides and connects youth and their families to resources and alternatives to violence within these 7 Denver Public High Schools; CHSC Osage, EGHS, CLA, Justice, CRA, DC-21, PREP Academy and has recently extended its service to cover all of the DPD District 6 neighborhoods which include the Downtown Denver area, Central Denver an additional high school and two additional Middle Schools. Additionally, throughout Tha Myx's multi decades of work in the communities of Denver we have set the standards for community outreach events in the parks during the spring and summer and for events during the Holiday seasons providing resources, food and holiday gifts.
