Mission
The mission of Terolyn Horse Rescue, Inc. is to rescue and care for at-risk, neglected, and abandoned horses at our 70-acre ranch in Elbert County, Colorado. We also provide education to the community on the proper care and maintenance of the animals. We are passionate about making a difference in the lives of unwanted horses and devoted to the well-being of the horses in our care.
Background Statement
Terolyn Horse Rescue, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has been rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming horses for more than 8 years. Our mission to rescue horses and educate the community on proper care and maintenance is fueled by our founder, Teri Allen, and her lifelong passion for helping horses. Terolyn Horse Rescue has given nearly 300 horses a second chance at happy and productive lives.
We work closely with veterinarians, experienced farriers, and professional trainers. Each horse that comes into our rescue is evaluated and rehabilitated with love and expert care. Most of our horses are adopted into loving, forever homes but those who are not adoptable stay with us on our beautiful ranch.
