Telluride Historical Museum

A nonprofit organization

The Telluride Historical Museum is a small museum with a big history. Your generosity, allows us to preserve Telluride's rich history for current and future generations of residents, guests, and visitors to the region.  Your gift helps us keep school programs and community events free, maintain museum best practices, and share the vast history of San Miguel county. Your donation provides the warmth of nostalgia to our visitors, curiosity and passion to students, and a home to some of San Miguel county's most important cultural and historical artifacts.

This year, your gift will support:

  • Expansion of our educational programs to reach a broad range of learners and students of all ages.
  • Improved resources for teachers and educators in K-12 education.
  • County-wide programming and events for the America 250 and Colorado 150 anniversaries throughout 2026.
  • Necessary maintenance and improvements on our 1896 hospital building we call home.
  • Updates and improved accessibility to our exhibits through Spanish language panels and programming.
