We’re a community-driven organization committed to creating impactful change, standing alongside post-secondary student survivors impacted by power-based sexual violence as they reclaim their paths with strength and resilience.

Survivor Fund Hub was ignited by a powerful realization in 2016: post-secondary students affected by power-based sexual violence face financial hurdles that are often misunderstood and overlooked, yet profoundly life-altering. What began as a commitment between two friends to help one student stay in school has grown into a nationwide movement dedicated to confronting the hidden financial tolls of trauma, empowering these students to pursue their education without compromise.

What started small on a single campus, Survivor Fund Hub has grown into a mission-driven force with a singular vision: to provide survivor-centered financial support that frees students from the invisible weight of financial strain. Today, Survivor Fund Hub stands as the nation’s first 501(c)(3) dedicated to flexible financial assistance for post-secondary survivors, pioneering new research into the long-term impact of this vital support—a game-changer for the future of survivor care.

With eight years of resilience and impact, we are now working to build a national model for survivor-centered financial care across higher education. Our mission is clear and bold: to empower students to stay in school, graduate, and step into futures full of possibility, free from the burden of financial hardship caused by violence.

Together, we’re not only transforming survivor care; we’re igniting a new path toward survivor joy, resilience, and opportunity. Join us in creating a world where every survivor can reclaim their future.

Mission

We’re building a future where post-secondary student survivors of power-based sexual violence have access to flexible financial assistance, empowering them to rediscover their own path to joy.

Background Statement

Survivor Fund Hub, established in 2024, is the first nonprofit in the U.S. to provide flexible financial assistance specifically for post-secondary students in Colorado impacted by sexual violence. By addressing the economic burdens survivors face—like therapy costs, lost wages, and housing instability—Survivor Fund Hub empowers students to heal, stay enrolled, and graduate.

Rooted in the mission "towards survivor joy," the organization collaborates with advocacy groups, campus resources, and community partners to provide comprehensive support and advocate for systemic change. Survivor Fund Hub also conducts research to inform policy, pioneering a survivor-centered model that fosters resilience, dignity, and long-term success.
