Sunday Salmon Inc

A nonprofit organization

Sunday Salmon began as a simple tradition nearly a decade ago, when founder Mary Grothe cooked a Sunday meal each week for family and friends. What started around a kitchen table has grown into a community-wide effort to fight food insecurity and isolation in Castle Rock. Since officially launching in January 2025, Sunday Salmon has served thousands of no-cost, organic meals—both in our restaurant-style setting and through our mobile food trailer outreach. Today, we serve seniors, veterans, families in crisis, individuals with disabilities, and neighbors from all walks of life, offering not just nourishment, but dignity and community.

Mission

Sunday Salmon nourishes our community with no-cost, organic meals served with dignity, creating connection, hope, and belonging for neighbors in need.
