The Success Foundation is proud to participate in the 2nd Annual Youth Sport Giving Day! We were able to raise critical funds during the inaugural campaign in 2024, to help launch new after-school athletics programming at all District 6 elementary and K-8 schools. Almost 1,000 elementary students participated during the 2024-25 school year with 40% reporting that it was their first experience with an organized team sport!
Funds raised through this year’s campaign will help us grow elementary athletics, address middle and high school resource needs, and strengthen a purposeful K–12 system that boosts participation and delivers a high-quality athletic experience at every level.
Why Athletics?
Student participation in organized athletics offers countless benefits, including increased engagement and attendance, improved academic performance, better health, skill development, and greater confidence. Yet in District 6, a growing gap has emerged between students from low-income families and those with the resources to join club or community recreation programs. By offering athletics programming to all 4th and 5th graders district-wide, we are creating equitable opportunities for every child. Early exposure to a variety of sports not only levels the playing field, but also fuels participation in middle and high school programs. With your support, we can remove barriers, open doors, and ensure every student has the chance to experience the life-changing power of athletics, no matter their background.
Thank you for supporting students in Greeley-Evans School District 6!
To build a strong and healthy community by providing financial resources to support projects and programs for PK-12 students within Greeley-Evans School District 6.
The Success Foundation Serving Greeley-Evans Schools was created as an independent non-profit organization to be a link between our schools and our community. Our vision has always been to bring community resources together to enhance educational opportunities for students. Since inception in 2010, almost $14 million has been raised to support District 6 schools and programs. The Success Foundation supports all traditional public and charter schools (23,124 students).
Current goals include:
1) Partner with District 6 to identify projects and programs that require funding and will have greatest impact on students and educators district-wide;
2) Ensure financial support is aligned with District 6 mission and goals, specifically related to student achievement and preparation for career and college success;
3) Identify barriers for students and provide funding to create equity;
4) Bring local education programs and institutions together to create efficiency, maximize impacts of multiple funding sources, and coordinate efforts to improve outcomes;
5) Acquire support through focusing on personal relationships, mission, impact storytelling, and donor experience.
