Power the 2025 Street Wise Mural Festival
$3,650 Raised
Street Wise Mural Festival returns September 26–27, 2025 to Boulder, CO!
Now in its seventh year, Street Wise is more than just a mural festival — it’s a powerful celebration of public art, social justice, and community resilience. Over two days, we transform Boulder into a vibrant canvas, featuring large-scale murals, augmented reality art, workshops, and public programming that centers creativity and community. Our festival connects world-class artists with the public to bring to life incredible artworks that speak to important community issues.
Street Wise Mural Festival is a community-driven art movement! We need your help to bring this event to life. By donating to our festival, you’ll align with one of Boulder’s most inclusive and cutting edge cultural events.
Here’s what your donation supports:
The creation of impactful murals across the city
Artist stipends, plus equipment and supplies
Free, public events that inspire connection and conversation
Our mission is to support artists and to build vibrant, resilient communities through public art projects, creative events, and hands-on education programs that beautify spaces and amplify cultural diversity and social justice.
Our core values include ensuring equitable access to the arts, supporting diverse artists of all ages and skill levels, and providing opportunities for the community to participate in public art programs.
Street Wise Arts was founded in 2015 with a mission to bring more public art installations and opportunities in Boulder and to provide more cross-sector collaborations through public art projects. In 2016, we launched our youth programs for high school students exploring social justice and identity through public art.
In 2019, we expanded our mission to prioritize activism, diversity, equity, and inclusion. We launched Boulder's first mural festival centered around ARTivism (the intersection of art and activism) to highlight and support environmental justice, racial and cultural diversity, and support community connections. We prioritize working with a diverse group of artists, especially those from historically underrepresented and marginalized populations including BIPOC, women, and LGBTQIA. Street Wise Arts formed as a 501c3 community nonprofit in 2020.
