Our vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. By helping families build homes, we empower them to achieve strength, stability, and independence. Habitat works to eliminate barriers to a better, healthier, and more financially stable life through affordable homeownership. Every home is a building block for a stronger future, and every helping hand makes a difference.

About Affordable Homeownership Founded in 1988, St. Vrain Habitat offers "a hand up, not a handout." Families are selected based on need, participation, and the ability to repay an affordable mortgage. They must complete up to 500 hours of "sweat equity," attend homeownership education, and repay their home cost through affordable mortgage payments, which help fund future homes in the community.

In addition to local efforts, St. Vrain Habitat supports global home building through its tithe program, currently contributing to Habitat affiliates in Nepal, Jordan, Lesotho, and Bolivia.
