For nearly two decades, we have pursued a bold, equity-centered vision: providing an excellent education accessible to students of all backgrounds. Philanthropy has always been the heartbeat of that mission—covering 70–75% of annual operations and generating between one and two million dollars each year to sustain a truly transformative educational model. Your generosity has made this possible.
As we prepare to close our extraordinary school at the end of this academic year, it is essential that we do so with the same grace and dignity that have defined us from the start. Even now—and especially now—your gift makes a profound difference. It ensures that every student experiences a full, joyful final year of learning and growth, and that every family and teacher receives the thoughtful support they deserve as they transition to what comes next. PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY TODAY!
TESTIMONIALS FROM YEARS PAST
Beyond the education is the school itself, which upholds values that are extremely important to our family. The sliding scale tuition ensures true socio-economic diversity. The focus on social impact, diversity, inclusion, equality and empowerment is so refreshing – and genuine. And the staff and faculty! It would be harder to find kinder, smarter and more dedicated people anywhere. Let's put it this way: we've stayed in Denver for this school. - Parent
I went to St. Elizabeth's from kindergarten to eighth grade and I always loved the tight knit community. It was great that there were smaller class sizes, this meant that I got more acknowledgement in the classroom. there was always someone that was able to help me if I had a question or didn't understand something. Overall, I think that St. Elizabeth's is a great school that allows kids to explore their interests and learn. - Alum
I am extremely pleased with St. Elizabeth's School. All three of my kids began at kindergarten - two are SES graduates and one is a current 8th grader. The community truly feels like a giant family, and my kids are prepared for their future lives with a foundation of love, support, and positive experience. I strongly feel I found the best possible option for my children to experience the right balance of academics and character development in a wonderfully diverse environment with unmatched, genuine care. For this, I am eternally grateful. - Parent

CORE VALUES
In order to fulfill this mission, St. Elizabeth's School:
COMPASSION
We act with grace, generosity, and humility. We recognize our responsibility to care with love and kindness for ourselves and one another. Every member of St. Elizabeth's is known, seen, accepted, and belongs.
CURIOSITY
We foster a culture of wonder and inquiry and learn from others’ perspectives and experiences. We are relentless in our pursuit of wisdom and open our minds and hearts for growth.
COURAGE
We develop courage as leaders and listeners to advocate for ourselves and others, to think critically, to self-reflect, and to make thoughtful decisions. Courage guides us as we seek to understand ideas other than our own and to take action to better ourselves and the world around us.
CONNECTION
Together, we build a dynamic culture by weaving together people from all backgrounds including economic status, race, ethnicity, religious beliefs, political affiliations, family composition, sexual orientation, and gender identity. We connect with others through our united investment in our students, school, and the work of creating a more equitable and just world.
Background Statement
St. Elizabeth's was founded in 2007 on the belief that every child should have access to a high-quality education regardless of their family's financial status and should be given the chance to thrive in this diverse and inclusive environment. We intentionally admit families from various socio-economic backgrounds so that each classroom is balanced with approximately one-third of students coming from low-income households, one-third from middle-income households and one-third from high-income households. (In 2023-2024 32% of our students are from low-income households, 40% from middle-income households, and 28% from high-income households.)
Now in our 18th year, St. Elizabeth's is providing a high-quality K-8th grade education to 125 students where all income brackets are represented, and children are learning and growing together. St. Elizabeth's community reflects the diversity of our city. Approximately 35% of students qualify for Free/Reduced Lunch, and 81% of families are receiving some amount of discounted tuition. Essential to having a socio-economically diverse student body is our tuition model, which is called the "Family Commitment Plan." Each family's tuition is determined by their income and according to the principle that a family's financial investment should be commensurate with their financial resources. We depend on individuals, community partners, and philanthropic support to bring our vision and mission to life.
