Our Mission

Sēb's Recreation Center (SRC) is dedicated to empowering individuals with special needs and unique challenges through community outreach, health and wellness, recreation, and education that promotes learning opportunities designed to strengthen and develop lives.

Who We Serve

At Sēb’s Recreation Center (SRC), inclusion isn’t just a value—it’s our foundation.  Our doors are open to all, but our heart beats strongest for those who need us most. We thoughtfully design our programs to meet the unique needs of individuals with disabilities and aging adults, creating a space where every person is empowered to thrive. SRC believes that inclusion means more than access; it means respect, connection, and shared joy. SRC is not just a center—it’s a community where people of all abilities come together in a space built on acceptance, understanding, and mutual growth.

Our Philosophy

At Sēb’s Recreation Center (SRC), we believe everyone, regardless of ability, deserves a place to thrive. We are deeply committed to enriching the lives of older adults and individuals with disabilities—along with the families and caregivers who support them—by recognizing and responding to their evolving needs. We are passionately committed to providing a vibrant, inclusive space where individuals of all abilities feel safe, supported, and celebrated. Our center offers thoughtfully designed activities and accessible services that empower each client to thrive—physically, emotionally, and socially.

Our Goal

At Sēb’s Recreation Center (SRC), we’re building more than a facility—we’re nurturing a community where everyone belongs. As we continue to grow, our goal is to expand our programs, activities, and facility to become the premier destination for accessible recreation in the Denver Metro Area for individuals with physical challenges and neurodivergent needs. We strive to set a new standard—one defined by compassion and a deep commitment to belonging for all.

Background Statement

Sēb’s Recreation Center (SRC) was founded by Sēbian and Keithan Holiday. During a visit to a city recreational facility, Sēbian was disappointed there were no activities he could participate in. During a conversation with his dad, he shared a simple but powerful idea: to create a space where people with disabilities could enjoy recreation just like able-bodied individuals. The two of them took that idea to heart and began building a center where inclusion was the starting point.

SRC has become a welcoming place where individuals of all abilities can socialize, feel safe, and be a part of the community. Whether through accessible fitness equipment, board games, arts and crafts, or other engaging activities, the center offers something for everyone. Families and caregivers have found a space to connect, relax, and participate together.

Keeping this vision alive—and allowing it to grow—depends on the generosity of people like you. SRC is more than a facility; it’s a lifeline for individuals and families who have long been excluded from recreational spaces. With your support, we can expand our programming, upgrade essential equipment, and move toward a larger, more fully equipped center that reaches even more members of our community.

Every donation makes a real difference. It helps us offer joyful experiences to those who are too often overlooked. It ensures that families can play, create, and connect together. And most importantly, it keeps Sēbian’s dream alive—a dream where no one is left behind.

Please consider contributing to SRC today. Your gift helps build a future where everyone belongs, and where the answer to “What can I do here?” is always: “Plenty.”
