Our mission is to enrich lives by bringing artists and community together, creating opportunities to experience, learn, create, exhibit, and connect through art.
Since 2007, the Roxborough Arts Council has supported artists and strengthened community through art. As the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization behind ROX Arts Gallery, RAC creates opportunities for artists to exhibit and share their work while giving the public meaningful ways to experience original art.
RAC supports exhibitions, art classes, free monthly receptions, public art through Art Encounters, youth projects including Love Letters and Kids Banners, and other community programs that help make art more visible and accessible throughout our area.
Through ROX Arts Gallery and its broader community initiatives, RAC brings artists, students, collectors, neighbors, and visitors together around creativity, learning, and connection.
