The patrons of Rosemount Museum are the mainstay of this non-profit institution. Each year, membership donations provide support toward the preservation of one of America's finest examples of the Victorian era. The museum also benefits from the faithful service of about 40 volunteers. Join us!

It is the mission of the Rosemount Museum to collect, preserve, and interpret to a broad public audience the historical experience of the John A. Thatcher family as it functioned in and contributed to the community.

The primary focus is on the original Thatcher family that lived in Rosemount from 1893 to 1922 based on the associated material culture, facilities, documented history and the history of the period.

The secondary focus is on the Thatcher Family from 1860 to 1893 and from 1922 to 1967 based on the associated material culture, facilities, documented history and the history of the period.

The mission is further achieved by the Museum's commitment to ethical standards, community service and respect for the public's needs and expectations.
