Welcome to Room Redux Denver - where healing & transformation go hand in hand. We are a mighty team of six board members and many volunteer superstars. All of our board members come from either a child advocacy or mental health background and our volunteers come from all walks of life.
In collaboration with mental health professionals, we receive referrals for recipients who have faced abuse and would benefit greatly from a new and safe space to call their own. We often try to send the family on an outing with lunch covered for the day while we transform the bedrooms - this gives them an opportunity to have fun, worry-free. We will also go the extra mile for the caregiver, when possible - whether that is a new family room with space for five kids to do their homework or a new space for them to recharge.
We have several upcoming Room Transformations before the end of 2022 and hope that you can help get us across the finish line.

Room Redux Denver is a Colorado nonprofit organization that focuses on transforming the rooms of children who have faced sexual or physical abuse.
This can be a powerful tool to foster healing, as many times abuse occurs in a child's room or bed, making the room itself feel unsafe. As a result, children may stop sleeping, start acting out or may become depressed, avoiding their room entirely.
Through donations and grants, Room Redux Denver fully transforms children's rooms so they will feel comfortable and safe.
We believe that a new room = a new start.
Background Statement
Since the beginning, one main goal of Room Redux has been to have the ability to transform the rooms and lives of children everywhere who have been victimized. With Chapters opening up across America, we get closer to reaching the goal of new rooms for child abuse victims everywhere.
Room Redux addresses the issue of the abuse and trauma that so many children face. This issue is a worldwide concern that, sadly, has been around for ages. Children are constantly being victimized. It's estimated that at least 1 in 7 children in the US has experienced child abuse and/or neglect in the past year. In India, a child is sexually abused every 15 minutes, according to the latest government figures. Globally, it is estimated that up to 1 billion children aged 2-17 years have experienced physical, sexual, or emotional violence or neglect in the past year.
These horrifying statistics are proof that the mission of Room Redux is something that this world needs. Every child who has experienced trauma deserves to have healing and hope in their life.
While there are many successful tools that are used to help children recover from trauma, Room Redux approaches healing from a different perspective. We transform the rooms of these children, changing their environment from one that triggers painful memories to one that promotes healing and well-being. By transforming their rooms, we have discovered that we also transforming their lives. Our Room Redux Room Transformations become Life Transformations, by bringing healing and breaking the cycle of abuse. Many children who suffer abuse often go on to perpetrate against their siblings and even become abusers as adults. So, if we can change the trajectory of one child's life by bringing them healing, then we can change the lives of countless other children as well.
We have 16 chapters in cities across the United States as well as chapters opening up in the UK and the Philippines.
We serve 100+ clients annually.
