Support Rocky Mountain Freestyle—Where Colorado’s Youth Find Passion, Purpose & Possibility

Rocky Mountain Freestyle (RMF), part of the US Ski & Snowboard Rocky Mountain Division, is the heart of competitive freestyle mogul skiing in Colorado. For decades, RMF has helped young athletes grow from their first turns into confident competitors—many rising to World Cup and Olympic levels - in fact, 9 of the current US Ski team members got their start with RMF - awesome!

But RMF is more than a competition program. It’s an incredible community where kids - from 5 to 19 years old - discover the joy of the outdoors, build lifelong friendships, develop resilience, and learn the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect for nature. And as a non-profit organization, none of this is possible without YOU—our RMF families, donors, and sponsors.

What Your Donation Makes Possible

RMF produces 15–20 US Ski & Snowboard-sanctioned moguls and dual moguls events each year. These events are the backbone of athlete development—and they rely on grants, donations, and volunteer power to remain accessible.

  • Development & Qualifier Series events cost ~$10,000 each

  • Competitive Series events cost ~$17,000 each

As we look to 2026, funds raised through Colorado Gives will be strategically allocated across the following key categories:

  • Freestyle/Mogul Competition Events: Supporting the organization and delivery of high-quality competition events to inspire and challenge our athletes.
  • Freestyle/Mogul Event Capital Equipment Needs: Investing in critical equipment to maintain safe, professional, and competitive event environments.
  • Freestyle/Mogul Coach Education/Support: Providing resources to further the education and development of our coaching staff to ensure athletes receive the best possible training.
  • Freestyle/Mogul Athlete in Need/Financial Support: Offering financial assistance to athletes who face economic barriers, helping them pursue their dreams in the sport.
  • Division Development/Growth: Expanding our programs to reach more athletes and communities, fostering greater participation and enthusiasm for freestyle skiing.

How RMF Recognizes and Elevates Our Donors & Sponsors

Colorado Gives supporters receive meaningful visibility throughout the season, including:

  • Presence at major events across world-class resorts like Aspen Highlands, Copper Mountain, Winter Park, Vail, Arapahoe Basin, Steamboat, and Telluride

  • Spotlights on RMF social media (Instagram & Facebook)

  • Exposure on RMF’s YouTube live streams, reaching families, fans, and future athletes nationwide

Why Your Colorado Gives Donation Matters—for You and for Our Athletes

Your gift fuels the experiences that shape Colorado’s next generation of athletes. Every dollar creates real pathways for young skiers to progress, gain confidence, and pursue their dreams—on and off the snow. When you support RMF, you help:

✔ Keep the sport affordable - Lowering event and competition costs so more kids—regardless of background—can participate.

✔ Enhance athlete development - Funding live-streamed competitions, remote-judging capabilities, and updated technologies that elevate training and exposure across the US and internationally.

✔ Grow the sport - Expanding outreach into new communities and identifying talented youth from across the Rocky Mountain region.
