There’s a special kind of joy that fills a home - It’s the feeling of safety, of belonging, of family.

When you give to Rocky Mountain Communities (RMC), you make it possible for Colorado families to thrive, not just survive. At RMC we build brighter futures and inspire hope by providing affordable housing and resident focused services. Our impact includes 10 affordable housing communities serving more than 2,700 individuals (with 1,000+ children).

As housing costs continue to rise across Colorado, more families are left with impossible choices—between rent and food, between safety and uncertainty. Every day without a stable home is a day without opportunity, dignity, and peace of mind. Together, we’re creating safe, equitable, resilient, and vibrant communities where families can find more than shelter; they can find hope, opportunity, and the means to build a brighter future.

Your gift today has a real, lasting impact on communities across Colorado:

  • $10,000 revitalizes shared spaces (creates a community technology hub or community garden supporting multiple generations); or sponsors 2 RMC real estate department internships for students to gain hands on work experience.

  • $5,000 provides A Back-To-School Fair with 100 backpacks and school supplies; restocks for 4 food pantries; or, establishes financial literacy programs at 2 properties.

  • $2,500 creates an after-school enrichment program (STEM Kits, Arts Activities, Tutoring); provides emergency rental and utility assistance for families; or supplies 10 welcome-home kits for families (pots & pans, dishes, towels, bedding, cleaning supplies).

  • $1,000 brings 20 grocery boxes for families; stocks a ‘Sponsor A Shelf’ with laundry soap, cleaning supplies, and hygiene products for one entire property; or provides an Emergency Maintenance Reserve Fund for urgent fixes to prevent a family’s displacement in an emergency

  • $500 gives transportation vouchers for residents to attend job interviews or medical appointments; supplies for community Thanksgiving dinner for one community; or, 1 full bed set for a family

  • $250 provides supplies for a community Holiday party; supplies for health and wellness or an aging-in-place community activity; or,
gives kitchen supplies for a cooking class.

  • $100 provides winter coats for an entire family; purchases holiday gifts for a family in need; covers the cost of volunteer background checks to support our programming; covers a staff training session to provide our team with trauma-informed skills.

Every dollar you give provides stability, dignity, and hope.
Together, we’re not just building homes—we’re nurturing futures, strengthening families, and shaping a Colorado where everyone belongs.

Mission

Building brighter futures and inspiring hope by providing affordable housing and resident-focused services.

Background Statement

Strong communities are composed of individuals and families who are supported and empowered to thrive.

For more than 33 years, Rocky Mountain Communities has leveraged resources and partnerships to invest in resident-focused affordable housing solutions across Colorado. We develop, own and manage housing communities, where we also offer services and programming that promote youth success, adult-self sufficiency and elderly independence. In doing so, we strengthen the fabric of our great state for everyone – now and for generations to come.

OUR VISION

To build equity, potential and hope through affordable housing and resident services.

Rocky Mountain Communities currently serves more than 2,700 individuals (including 1000+ children) within our 10 affordable housing communities across Colorado. Since 1992 we have served more than 17,000 families with stable affordable housing and programs for upward mobility.
