The Roaring Fork Children’s Foundation (known in the community as Angel Tree) mission is to bring joy and warmth to the hearts of children in need during the holiday season. As a small, volunteer-run non-profit, we are dedicated to providing Christmas gifts for children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience the magic of the season. Our goal is to make a positive and lasting impact by spreading love, happiness, and the spirit of giving to those who need it most. Year round our vision is to ensure that no child is left behind by providing emergency funding to address critical needs that other non-profit organizations may not be able to fund.
We are dedicated to supporting the well-being and development of children by swiftly responding to unforeseen circumstances and providing financial assistance in times of crisis. Through collaborative efforts, compassion, and effective resource allocation, we aim to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and empower them to thrive in adverse situations. Together, we can create a safer, healthier, and more equitable future for every child in need.
How It Works
Roaring Fork Children's Foundation Christmas Program
Children in the roaring fork valley qualify for this program based on their needs, our local schools and non-profits help identify which families could use a little extra help.
We then turn those Christmas wishes into angel tree tags. You can find these tags with a child's Christmas wish on our area trees; at your local City Markets and Bighorn Toyota.
You simply shop for a new gift and return it back to the location you picked up the tag.
