RiseUp is a small alternative high school in the heart of downtown Denver. Here, a student who was once overlooked in a large high school can find the spotlight. Internships, projects, small classes and incredible families all support our students to immerse themselves into their education. This is the education all of our young people deserve and comes at a higher cost than what the state funds. Thank you for your contribution to their lives. Each donation goes to lowering class sizes and supporting the internship program.

Our mission is why we show up to work
The mission of RiseUp Community School is to engage young people who have previously dropped out of school or are at risk of dropping out in a supportive learning environment that holds each student to high expectations, cultivates social justice, and inspires every student to achieve a high school diploma and become prepared for college and careers after graduation.
RiseUp began in 2014 with the goal of simply helping to seal the cracks in education. We have developed into a place where students, who have felt out of place and without a school, can find a home.
