Rebels Youth Athletics (RYA) is a youth sports organization serving a large area in Southeast Weld County that includes the towns of Keenesburg, Hudson, Lochbuie, Roggen, and Fort Lupton. RYA offers volleyball, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, and t-ball to these communities for grades K-8. At RYA, we believe that sports teach/reinforce essential life lessons. Sports teach the value of hard work, sportsmanship, perseverance, and teamwork. Studies have shown that student athletes perform better in school than non-athletes, and this translates to more success as an adult as well.
To implant firmly in the children of the community the ideas of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens.
