Realm of Caring Foundation (RoC) is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, formally established on August 7, 2013, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. What began as a grassroots effort to help families navigating cannabinoid therapies has grown into a global resource for education, research, advocacy, and compassionate support.
RoC's early history includes the involvement of the Stanley Brothers, alongside co-founders Paige Figi and Heather Jackson, whose shared commitment to helping families helped shape the organization's beginnings. While those relationships remain an important part of our history, Realm of Caring has long operated independently, with its own Board of Directors, leadership, and nonprofit mission.
Co-founder Heather Jackson continues to serve as President of the Board of Directors, while Executive Director Sasha Kalcheff-Korn leads the organization's operations and continued growth.
Today, Realm of Caring serves individuals and families worldwide through free, personalized cannabinoid education, compassionate support, and meaningful research, including collaborations with Johns Hopkins University.
