We are a Colorado-based nonprofit that creates the space for communities and people of all backgrounds to realize their unique potential through the power of entrepreneurship. We support entrepreneurs’ personal and business development through a proven mix of classroom, coaching, capital, and community. Since 2008, RMMFI is proud to have:

  • Graduated 88 cohorts of Business Launch Boot Camp, with an 85% graduation rate, resulting in the launch or expansion of 735 businesses across Colorado
  • Distributed $1,739,844 across 517 loans with a 95% repayment rate and deployed $746,400 in grants
  • Expanded statewide across Colorado, serving urban and rural communities with English and Spanish programming
  • Received the 2024 Collaboration Catalyst Award from Good Business Colorado
  • Been selected for the 2024 Catalyst Program with the Stand Together Foundation
  • Been appointed to the Colorado Office of Financial Empowerment Advisory Council

RMMFI creates the space for communities and people of all backgrounds to realize their unique potential through the power of entrepreneurship.

Background Statement

Micro entrepreneurship is a powerful tool for building individual and community prosperity, but personal, professional, and economic barriers prevent individuals from accessing the benefits of small business ownership. These barriers also result in a poorly diversified economy, with folks who make less than 80% of the Denver Metro AMI finding themselves with limited opportunities. RMMFI supports resilient entrepreneurs ready for business ownership who want to achieve financial independence, build generational wealth, grow their dreams into reality, and define their pathways to success.
